报告摘要:In this talk, we will establish the nonlinear stability threshold $O(\nu^{3/2})$ for the three-dimensional Couette flow governed by the compressible Navier--Stokes equations at high Reynolds number. While stability thresholds are well understood for both compressible and incompressible flows in two dimensions, and for incompressible flows in three dimensions, the three-dimensional compressible case remains open due to additional structural features, strong mode interactions, and wave coupling. The proof relies on the construction of coupled diffusion waves and a refined frequency-space approach. This is joint work with Prof. Fei Wang, Prof. Lingda Xu, and Dr. Zeren Zhang.
报告人简介:李锐,2020年本科毕业于永利皇宫官方网站,2025年博士毕业于中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院,现为香港中文大学博士后。主要研究方向为可压缩流体的稳定性,在CMP上发表论文1篇。
